Romo, Ph.D.

Hospice Chaplain, Kaiser Permanente, Trauma Incident Reduction Facilitator, Private Practice,  Past President, Child Friendly Faith Project,  Member, Grex | Certified Consultant, AK Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems   Dr. Romo is currently a spiritual counselor at Kaiser Permanente and a bilingual trauma incident reduction (TIR) facilitator in private practice in San Diego.  His role is to help people see and solve individual and systemic problems and become transformational leaders and followers.

 

He is the past President of the Child Friendly Faith Project, a national social change effort to abolish religious child maltreatment, as well as a Minister for Healing and Healthy Environments at Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Dr. Romo recently directed the conference, Activism as a Spiritual Practice: A Latinx Led Leadership Event, April 16-18, 2021. Member, Grex and Certified Consultant, AK Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems.
