Sarah has been the Faculty Director of over 50 group relations conferences at Teachers College, Columbia University (TC) and in the last decade has done so in co-sponsorship with The Tavistock Institute for Human Relations. As an Associate Professor at TC, Sarah teaches courses on group dynamics, high-performing teams, and equity, diversity, and inclusion to MA and Ph.D. students. Sarah has 20+ years of experience in individual and team coaching and consultation with a focus on social identity at work.
She has published on topics including conflict resolution in diverse teams, challenges of the global community, improving race relations in multicultural organizations, and understanding and leveraging implicit dynamics in the workplace. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a licensed psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association.
